I bought a platinum diamond engagement ring from Blue Nile – it was so much cheaper than jewellery stores here in Australia and the best thing is they allow you to set the quality of the diamond yourself.
Most Jewellery stores in Australia have very poor quality diamonds that are yellow with inclusions or if you want a colourless diamond you have to pay 2 times as much as Blue Nile. They include an independent diamond evaluation with the ring so you can be confident you’re not getting ripped off.
When the ring came it was amazing, the photos on the website don’t do it justice at all – it is absolutely stunning. Because I wanted it to be a surprise for my fiance I hadn’t got her finger properly sized before I ordered it but they have free resizing so I just had to send it back. They resized it perfectly – it’s perfectly round and you can’t see the join at all and then they send it back via FedEx for free again.
The shipping is super quick – only took 3 working days to get to Perth.
Finally, the customer service was amazing, get email updates when it’s ready, shipped etc. then when I needed to resize it was easy to send it back (you just have to pay the shipping back to them, the resizing and return postage with FedEx is free). I would definitely recommend Blue Nile to anyone looking for an engagement ring.
