    The Diamond Guild Australia’s 2023 Jewellery Awards, now in its 15th year, announced its winners on 24th October 2023 at The Langham, Gold Coast.

    Celebrating its anniversary, the Awards focus on promoting excellence and innovation in the Australian jewellery trade for the benefit of the industry and consumers alike.

    The winners of this prestigious event are invited to compete globally, showcasing the international standard of the competition.

    Everyday Diamonds

    • Designer: Robert Musson
    • Company: Musson Jewellers
    • Retail Value: $10,000
    • Description: An 18ct white gold pendant with three diamonds, featuring sculptured wirework. It combines negative space and volume, making it ideal for everyday wear.

    Diamonds for Men

    • Winner: VELOCITA
    • Designer: Chantelle Green
    • Jeweller: Andrew Want
    • Company: Calleija
    • Retail Value: $70,100
    • Description: An 18ct white gold diamond set collar bar with round brilliant and half-moon cut diamonds.

    Red Carpet

    • Winner: BLOOM
    • Designer: Robert Musson
    • Company: Musson Jewellers
    • Retail Value: $46,880
    • Description: An 18ct rose gold ring with 17 oval diamonds. It features natural fluorescence, visible under black light, and a metamorphic design inspired by organic life

    Design for Diamonds

    • Winner: ORIONID
    • Designer: Alaine Anson
    • Company: Stephen Dibb Jewellery
    • Estimated Retail Value: $42,639,304 (if made)
    • Description: A conceptual necklace design inspired by the Orionid meteor shower, featuring platinum, 18ct rose gold, 22ct yellow gold, and a rough pink diamond crystal, along with various cut diamonds symbolising celestial bodies.

    Fancy Coloured Diamonds

    • Winner: THE KALEIDOSCOPE
    • Designers: Nadia Neuman and Burt Muller
